Bob has over 39 years of experience in the financial audit, recovery, cost reduction, and the spirits industries. Bob's career began in New York City working for Associated Dry Goods corporate audit department, performing operational and financial audits of their divisions. Bob also worked for Horn & Hardart/Hanover Direct gaining experience in auditing mail order catalogs and food service. Immediately prior to entering the cost reduction industry, Bob spent almost ten years in the post audit recovery industry with two firms - Howard Schultz & Associates and PRG.
From 2004 - 2018 through his consulting business, Cost Management Strategies, Bob has been successfully reducing costs for a wide variety of both for profit and non-profit businesses. In 2018, Bob started Four Gate Whiskey Company, LLC with his partner, Bill Straub and has moved to full time consulting and managing Four Gate. Four Gate is a premium boutique brand with 13 plus releases to date all receiving critical acclaim from various magazines and online reviews.
Bob earned a B.S. in Accounting,1982, from Louisiana State University.
Bob is an active member with his family at Holy Trinity Parish in Louisville, Kentucky. Bob has participated as a member on the Norton Cancer Institute Leadership Cabinet and currently sits on the Bike to Beat Cancer Committee benefiting the Norton Cancer Institute.
